Dark Rites was formed in 2016 by musicians from the US, the UK and Sweden. Those three countries generate underground music with distinct themes and attitudes, but with this band those themes and attitudes merge into one style. Inspired by thrash, melodic death metal and Viking metal, the three members of the band record at home studios and piece them together through the internet. The 2018 release of their new album “Welcome to Eternity” was greeted with overwhelming support from fanzines, blogs and radio programs and fans. The self-released “Welcome to Eternity” can be purchased in digital format on many internet outlets including Bandcamp, Google Play, Itunes/Apple Music, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer and Tidal.
