Interview with Joe Brady of SCANNER by Dave Wolff

Pennsylvania, USA’s Scanner was formed in 1979, during the second wave of punk. Before they started there was no local punk scene, but they traveled to Baltimore and Washington, DC visiting record outlets selling imported albums from the Damned, X-Ray Spex, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Adam and the Ants, Slaughter and the Dogs, Generation X, the Slits and the Saints. This, their influence from early punk and their exposure to the Washington, DC hardcore scene inspired them to form a band. Scanner has been active ever since that time, and their latest EP “In My Head” was released July 2018. Below is a link to their interview.
