'Cerulean Reflections' is the second release for IN THE ABSENCE OF WORDS for 2021.
'Cerulean Reflections' was inspired by a moment of nostalgia and the reflections around it. A line of text from an interview triggered me, followed by a song, taking me back to a period in the late '80s and early '90s. These reflections were met by feelings of innocence, excitement, and longing.
Like the track' Womb of Creation', which was released at the end of August 2020, Cerulean Reflections' explores a different sound and style to other material so far. However, the goal for this track was the same as all others: to let what happens, happen, and to express thoughts and emotions through different sounds.

I am a copywriter by day and humbled to work with words for a living. There are, however, certain experiences, moments, and feelings which I can’t describe. Whether it’s stark and dramatic landscapes, the serenity and solitude of the forest, connection with another human being, or the grief of losing one, sometimes it’s hard to find the words to express the feeling.
IN THE ABSENCE OF WORDS is a project I started as an outlet to express experiences and moods in other ways than words. The original goal was to create “chapters” every month for one year. With each chapter, the aim was to create a "story" based on a mood or feeling. After achieving this goal, I decided to record and release new music only when I felt I needed or wanted to.
