Indigenous Atmospheric Black Metal Project Unveils First Taste Of Upcoming Second Full-Length Album

Southern California atmospheric black metal project NORCVLT has announced the release of its new single, “Antlers Of The New Dawn,” arriving April 25, 2026 via Red Nebula.

The track serves as the first official preview of NORCVLT's upcoming second full-length album and continues the project's blend of cold atmospheric black metal, immersive ambience and emotionally charged intensity.

NORCVLT is the solo project of Indigenous artist Tñuu Dau , whose music draws from identity, spirituality, resistance and personal experience. The project's name, which stands for Native Of Rain Cvlt , reflects both its cultural lineage and the stormy sonic atmosphere surrounding the music.

“Antlers Of The New Dawn” will receive an early music-video premiere on the BLACK METAL ARTISTS YouTube channel on April 23, two days before the single's official release across major streaming platforms.

Musically, NORCVLT operates in territory familiar to fans of atmospheric and expressive black metal, with influences including Uada, Yaotl Mictlan, Grima and Agalloch , while maintaining its own identity through an Indigenous perspective and narrative.

The upcoming single is described as a continuation and expansion of NORCVLT's established sound, combining atmospheric black metal with a sense of ritualistic ambience and themes rooted in ancestral perspective.

Tñuu Dau handled all instruments, composition, recording, mixing, mastering and production for the track. The single artwork was created by G.C. Logan (@oswta.okwali) . NORCVLT and Red Nebula jointly handle management for the project.

“Antlers Of The New Dawn” is intended to establish the sonic and thematic direction of NORCVLT's forthcoming second full-length album, building on the project's atmospheric foundation while pushing its intensity and mythology further.
