Canadian/Brazilian Brutal Death Metal Veterans Bring Their Crushing Return Across Brazil and Paraguay Following Festival Franco do Rock Triumph

Following a powerful performance at Festival Franco do Rock 2026 and the overwhelming response to their comeback album Serpent's Verdict , Canadian/Brazilian brutal death metal veterans Ophiolatry have officially announced the South America "Serpent's Verdict" Tour 2026 , bringing their uncompromising live assault across Brazil and Paraguay this August and September.

The tour marks another major milestone in the band's resurgence after signing with the legendary Combat Records and releasing Serpent's Verdict , their first full-length album in seventeen years through WormHoleDeath Records. Praised for its savage intensity, technical precision, and deeply rooted themes of indigenous Amazonian spirituality, resistance, and ancestral identity, the album has firmly reestablished Ophiolatry as one of the most respected names in South American extreme metal.

Mastered by renowned producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Dark Funeral), Serpent's Verdict delivers thirteen relentless tracks that showcase the band's evolution while remaining true to the devastating brutality that has defined Ophiolatry since their formation in Brazil in 1998.
