THE GENERALS TO HEADLINE ABERDEEN'S 2025 WORLD MUSIC DAY FESTIVAL — ALBUM DROPS JULY 2

Portland, OR – Portland’s high-octane rock juggernaut The Generals are charging full speed ahead in 2025, with a string of major announcements kicking off their summer campaign. The band is set to headline the Make Music Day Festival on Saturday, June 21st , in downtown Aberdeen, WA , as part of the global World Music Day celebration.

Taking over The Music Project’s Main Stage , The Generals will perform alongside a powerhouse lineup including Krist Novoselic’s Bona Fide Band , Roger Fisher with the Human Tribe , and Angel Bouchet (of Portlandia ) and her blues band. The all-day citywide event is expected to set new local attendance records, and The Generals are primed to deliver a no-holds-barred performance.

🎶 NEW MUSIC OUT NOW:
The Generals have released two singles so far, now streaming on all major platforms. These tracks offer a first taste of their upcoming full-length The Devil You Know , scheduled to hit streaming platforms July 2 via GEN-POP Records . Limited-edition vinyl LPs are expected late July .

 Stay tuned as the heat builds toward their Portland album release show on Saturday, August 9 , and a set at the popular Volume Bomb Festival in Portland on August 23 .

Their sound is a blistering mix of rock ‘n’ roll swagger, punk grit, and metal muscle— think Supersuckers meets Turbonegro with a shot of Nashville Pussy and a Social D snarl.
