Extreme Management Group (EMG) , home to bands like Suffocation , Cattle Decapitation, Rings of Saturn , and more, has announced their partnership with Symphonic Metal band Beyond Forgiveness.
Beyond Forgiveness , from Colorado Springs, CO , was formed in 2014 by guitarists Richard Marcus and Greg Witwer . Beyond Forgiveness is on a focused quest to embody the full meaning of the label ‘symphonic’ through the composition of lush classical orchestras , choirs , and operatic vocals with hints of folk , colliding with extreme elements found in death metal and black metal . While still a studio project, the band released their first EP, “ The Ferryman’s Shore .” Featuring singer Talia Hoit , the album quickly gained national and international recognition, including rave reviews in numerous metal publications such as: Sonic Cathedral, Lords of Metal, Metal Gods TV etc.
Beyond Forgiveness then recruited drummer Sean Rogers , and quickly began playing in various places around the United States. In 2017, the band completed a small tour in Europe, culminating in the “ 1st annual, 6 Hours of Symphonia Festival ” in Lausanne, Switzerland. While in Europe, the band met with Czech producer Jarek Musil , who previously worked on “ The Ferryman’s Shore ” EP, and began recording their first full-length album “ The Great Wall .” Subsequently, numerous songs from that album have been added to standard rotations on several internet radio stations as well as two Colorado stations. Within a few weeks of release, the band was contacted and signed by Sliptrick Records . Enlisting the help of bassist Jim Lasselle , the band recorded and released their second Full-Length album, "Live to Tell the Story" with a video for the single "Echoes” on September 23rd of 2019. Next, the band embarked on their second international tour, playing numerous shows throughout Europe, including an appearance at the ARM Antimateria Rock & Metal Festival in Yelets, Russia.
Now the band has signed with Extreme Management Group , and had the following to say about the partnering, “We are very excited to join forces with the Extreme Management Group ! It is a privilege to join the ranks of EMG alongside some of the heaviest hitting bands in the scene right now that are on the roster. This is a huge opportunity for us, and we know that this partnership is going to take our music to a new level, and bring our live performance to many new places.” EMG said, " Beyond Forgiveness has done a ton of work getting themselves to this point.
