Sweden's Devourer return with "Across The Empty Plains", the band's sophomore album that showcases once again a high dose of black metal.
In 2013, after the release of their debut "All Hope Abandon", guitarist/bassist Falk was suffering from depression and opiate addiction, which put most of his musical activities on hold for almost two years. After being forced into treatment by the Swedish law of mandatory treatment for abusers and alcoholics, the musican returned so he could do what he does best: music.
After an initial release in digital format, "Across the Empty Plains" is going to see a physical release on September 15th 2017 via Iron Blood And Death.
