AMERICAN TERROR and STICKY FINGAZ of ONYX to release “Judgement [Remix]” on September 18th

Heavy punk/metal band American Terror has teamed up with legendary rapper Sticky Fingaz to release a remix of the band’s single “Judgement”. The hard-hitting, genre-bending track will be available to stream & purchase on all major digital platforms on Friday, September 18th. It is currently available for Spotify Pre-Save here [https://smarturl.it/judgementremixpre].

American Terror singer/producer Brad Cox says, “Being a big hip-hop and rap fan, I always loved Onyx and the aggressive, ‘I-don’t-give-a-fuck attitude’ they had, especially from Sticky Fingaz. His attitude was a perfect match for the attitude of this band. So this remix was the time to reach out and experiment with the blended styles.”

Sticky Fingaz, a 2020 ASCAP award-winning songwriter for his recent work with Travis Scott, is best known for his aggressive style heard on seminal recordings such as the multi-platinum single “Slam” by his group Onyx (from their classic debut record “Bacdafucup”), Eminem’s “The Marshall Mathers LP” (one of the best-selling albums of all time, with over 25 million copies sold), and multiple collaborations with New York hardcore metal legends Biohazard (including the “Bionyx” version of “Slam” and the “Judgment Night” soundtrack’s title track). In addition to his long-running rap career, Sticky has amassed a long filmography as an actor in TV & films, including “Next Friday”, “Empire”, “Blue Bloods”, “The Shield”, “CSI: Miami”, and “NCIS: Los Angeles”.

American Terror’s critically-acclaimed debut record, “Influencer”, has tallied up 100,000+ Spotify streams since its release in late May, when it arrived on the heels of the success of the singles “Judgement” and “She’s A Bitch”. These two tracks leading up to the full-length release quickly built momentum for the band, thanks to features on Spotify’s editorial and algorithmic playlists, in addition to spots on hundreds of user playlists. With 16,000+ monthly listeners and 28,000+ YouTube views across multiple channels, prominent rock media outlets took notice and covered the band’s progress, including Revolver Magazine, KNAC, Blabbermouth, BraveWords, and Ultimate-Guitar. The band recently made “Influencer” available for purchase in translucent red vinyl LP, CD, and HD download formats; these are available to purchase at their official web store [https://americanterrorband.com/shop]. The album was released by EMP Label Group, the label founded by Megadeth bassist David Ellefson with industry executive Thom Hazaert.

“Influencer” and “Judgement [Remix]” were engineered, produced, and mixed by vocalist Brad Cox at his Black Paw Studios in Lawrenceville, GA. Brad is partners in the publishing company Black Paw Music with legendary producer Mike Clink (Guns N’ Roses, Megadeth, Metallica). The full-length record was mastered by Troy Glessner (Disturbed) at Spectre Studios in Seattle, WA, while “Judgement [Remix]” was mastered by Glenn Schick (Lil’ Wayne, Future, Ludacris, Lil’ Uzi Vert, 2 Chainz). The band’s studio and creative lineup includes guitarist Pat Valley, bassist Murphy Karges, drummer Rob Hammersmith, and DJ Soulman, with bassist GK Via stepping in live.
