Sacramento, California thrash veterans PSYCHOSOMATIC will issue their seventh album, The Invisible Prison, through Nefarious Industries next week. With the bulldozing LP on the verge of release, the band proudly unveils their cover of "Serial Killer," originally recorded by Bay Area thrash legends Vio-lence.

PSYCHOSOMATIC's The Invisible Prison features twelve tracks of modern thrash metal with elements of death metal and punk infiltrating the mix. The album was produced, engineered, and mixed by David Sanchez (Havok) at Riffs Or Die Recordings, mastered by Mark Lewis (Chimaira, Trivium, The Black Dahlia Murder) at MRL Studios, and completed with art by Jeff Salgado, coloring by Vincent Pizarro, layout by Greg Meisenberg, and photography by Michael Alvarez.

Vio-lence/Machine Head member Phil Demmel states, "It's such an honor when we hear a band cover one of our songs. This one is a rager by one of the better NorCal thrash bands and fires us up! Thanks dudes from the entire Vio-Camp!"

Sean Killian of Vio-lence writes, "It's amazing to know your music has inspired so many metal bands and metal people. Metal bands like PSYCHOSOMATIC who did a great job recording 'Serial Killer' on their new album."

Offers PSYCHOSOMATIC's Jeff Salgado, "I was asked to sing the song 'Serial Killer' during the Killian On Command benefit for Sean Killian back in January of 2018 at The Midway in San Francisco. It was a lot of fun and I thought it made a great addition to the album in honoring one of our biggest influences and return of the mighty Vio-lence!"
