Oklahoma's slam machine Peeling Flesh are back, and they're bringing an absolutely filthy new record with them.
The band has officially announced their sophomore full-length, Peeling Flesh , due November 27, 2026 via Unique Leader Records . Along with the announcement, the band has unleashed the album's first single, “Murderous Intent,” featuring Mike Ryan of Missing Link .

Built on crushing slam riffs, death metal brutality, hardcore aggression, and the band's unmistakable hip-hop influence, Peeling Flesh promises to push the Oklahoma outfit's already punishing sound even further.
Vocalist Damonteal Harris describes the album as a project the band has poured everything into over the past year.
“This has been our baby for the last year. An insane mixture of drop G and Drop F songs that are some of our favorite and craziest songs we've written to date and we're extremely stoked to get them out finally.”
As for “Murderous Intent,” Harris keeps things appropriately blunt, calling the track “ruthless and vicious” while highlighting the collaboration with Mike Ryan as a way of solidifying the Oklahoma/New York connection.
And if the first single is any indication, Peeling Flesh aren't exactly planning on easing listeners into this thing.
The guest list on Peeling Flesh is loaded with familiar names from across the modern extreme-metal underground.
The album features Devin Swank of Sanguisugabogg , JayWay , Bridget Lynch of Stabbing , and Extermination Dismemberment , alongside Mike Ryan of Missing Link.
Formed in 2021, Peeling Flesh quickly established themselves as one of the most recognizable names in the modern slam and death metal underground.
Their 2024 debut full-length, The G Code , helped put the Oklahoma quintet firmly on the radar, earning praise from Blabbermouth , which described the band's approach as a “full-throttle” assault.
The band followed that momentum with last year's PF Radio 2 EP, further expanding their signature collision of slam, death metal, hardcore, and hip-hop.
Their sound has become just as recognizable for its personality as its sheer heaviness. Hip-hop samples, crushing low-tuned guitars, a charismatic frontman, and an increasingly relentless songwriting output have helped Peeling Flesh carve out a lane that is distinctly their own.
That reputation has also translated to the road. The band has shared stages with heavyweights including Lorna Shore, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Sanguisugabogg , while collaborations with artists such as Svdden Death, YVM3, and NIMDA have continued to demonstrate the band's willingness to cross genre lines without sacrificing their brutality.
Now they're taking the next step with Peeling Flesh .
Before the new album arrives in November, Peeling Flesh will embark on a massive U.S. headlining run throughout October.
The tour features Grounds For Assault, Snuffed On Sight, Mongrel, Gridiron, Outta Pocket, Fatal Realm, Final Resting Place, and Two-Piece on select dates.

With Peeling Flesh arriving November 27, the band is setting up a two-month stretch that puts their new material directly in front of audiences across the country before unleashing the full album.
For a band that has built its reputation on relentless live performances and an unapologetically heavy sound, that's a pretty damn effective way to roll into a new record.
The new era of Peeling Flesh officially begins with “Murderous Intent.”
And judging by that title, they aren't exactly here to make friends.
