Cambridge, UK – April 9, 2026 – UK alternative/progressive metal innovators Far From Refuge announce the first single from their upcoming full-length album Pillars of Language : the interstellar, riff-heavy journey “Circuits II: Timelines” , out May 1, 2026 .

Blurring the lines between progressive metal, metalcore, and melodic death metal, Far From Refuge have spent nearly a decade perfecting their signature blend of technical precision and melodic intensity. Winners of three NMG Awards in the Best Artist: Rock/Heavy categories, the Cambridge-based quartet delivers music that’s as thoughtful as it is powerful—whether tearing through a live set or crafting intricate studio compositions.

“It feels like Circuits II: Timelines has been years in the making,” says vocalist Suran Jayathilaka. “As we meet up again with the cosmic interloper from Circuits, we embark on an intergalactic sonic journey!”

Produced, mixed, and mastered by Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios, and featuring album artwork by True Spilt Milk , Pillars of Language promises to take listeners on a journey through music, fantasy, gaming, and sci-fi inspiration.
