Element of Fate to Release Debut Album Dreamfall on July 27, 2026

Washington, DC / Portland, OR – Element of Fate, the US-based melodic heavy metal duo known for blending classic heavy metal with symphonic, gothic, and progressive elements, is set to release their debut album, Dreamfall , on July 27, 2026 via Bravemusic.

Dreamfall is described by the band as “an album born from creative struggle, resilience, and the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.” The album traces an emotional journey from darkness toward light, capturing themes of inner struggle, transformation, and personal resilience through cinematic storytelling and musical exploration.

Produced and mastered by John Mario of JBG Records, Dreamfall delivers a sound that melds powerful riffs, soaring vocals, and intricate arrangements. Fans of Nightwish, Judas Priest, Seven Spires, Lacuna Coil, and Dio will find familiar inspiration, yet Element of Fate’s style stands uniquely in its own lane—drawing comparisons to what one fan described as “if Iron Maiden and Nightwish had a baby.”

Formed in the Washington, DC area and operating between DC and Portland, Oregon, Element of Fate consists of vocalist and visual artist Carol Phillips (Madame Crol) and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Scott Loose. Through fantasy, mystical, and sci-fi themes, the duo crafts a sweeping sonic experience that goes beyond strict genre boundaries.

To celebrate the release, Element of Fate will launch a Kickstarter campaign for Dreamfall on April 17, 2026, featuring exclusive rewards and a music video for the album.
