Denver-based alternative metal band Takipnik will unleash their third full-length album, Awakened , on October 24, 2025 . Self-released and produced by Bobby Malone , the record captures the band at their most dynamic and fearless yet, blending crushing riffs with expansive atmospherics to create a sound that is both heavy and hypnotic.

Since their formation in 2019, Takipnik has carved out a unique space within the alt-metal and post-metal scenes, balancing aggression with melody and atmosphere. Their earlier works—including their debut EP The Biggest (2021) and the full-length This Hypocrisy (2023)—set the stage for what has now become their most ambitious project to date.

Recorded and mixed by Ethan Kotel and mastered by Brad Smalling of Evergroove Studio , Awakened expands on the sonic landscapes Takipnik has been exploring in recent singles like Seeing Red , Dawn , and The Finding . The new album weaves together heavy synth-driven grooves, soaring atmospheres, and emotionally charged post-rock textures, making for a powerful listening experience.

“ Awakened is about confronting the cycles we find ourselves in—breaking through the static and learning to rise above,” says the band. “This album represents the culmination of everything we’ve been working toward since day one.”
