Already turning heads in the underground, Rubidium was just featured in Metal Injection’s Weekly Injection , alongside heavyweights such as Deftones, Arcadea, Bask, Burning Witches, Signs of the Swarm, and We Came As Romans . This recognition places Visitant among some of today’s most influential and talked-about acts.

To mark the release, the band has also unleashed the official music video for the title track “Rubidium,” now live on YouTube :

Formed by past and present members of Abiotic, Scale the Summit, Unaligned, Shroud of Bereavement, Dreaded Silence, and Voraath , Visitant conjures a devastating blend of infernal rawness, lush orchestration, and technical precision. Described by Decibel Magazine as “a collision of Dimmu Borgir and UADA smashed together like action figures during recess,” the band is carving out their own space in modern extreme metal.

Bassist Kilian Duarte states:

“ Rubidium is an album that we hope you will all enjoy start to finish. We wanted to make this record flow in such a way that we take you on a journey through its brutal landscapes.”

Vocalist Chelsea Marrow adds:

“This is an album that stemmed from a lot of personal grievances. Through hardships and lineup changes, we finally completed Rubidium . Created from the soul and outward. We are so proud of this! Thank you to everyone who stuck by us through this journey. Your support means everything.”

Rubidium was released via Exitus Stratagem Records and explores themes of grief, loss, betrayal, vengeance, time lost, and regret across seven crushing tracks.

Fans can also catch Visitant live at the Tennessee Metal Devastation Music Fest on October 11, 2025 , where they’ll bring the fury of Rubidium to the stage.
