Today, Purodium Rekords sets December 31st as the international release date for a new 7" EP from obscure Portuguese black metal cult Nefastu aptly titled Obscura Transcendência .
Scornful and scorning, Obscura Transcendência is a hard-charging three-song blast of disgust and disease. Although Nefastu are committed to total obscurity, labor under no presumption that Obscura Transcendência is weak 'n' withered "bedroom black metal" - quite the contrary, in fact, as these three songs exhibit an exquisitely filthy heft. And like all their recordings, this EP is strictly limited to 150 copies: Nefastu stands for total darkness and death!
