FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Seventh Eve’s “Carnival” – A Closing Chapter, A New Beginning with Outsider TX
For fans of: Alpha Wolf, Thrown, DarkoUS, Dealer
The track “Carnival” was originally released under the name Seventh Eve —a band that once showed strong promise in the underground metalcore and post-hardcore scenes. With haunting melodies, aggressive riffs, and a cinematic edge, the single followed the success of the previous release “Asphyxia,” which garnered over 66,000 views on its official music video and became the most successful track of the project.
What fans may not have known is that the core creative force behind both songs was the collaboration between Desmond (instrumentalist/producer) and Oswaldo “Edgar” (vocalist/lyricist). Desmond joined Seventh Eve in July 2024 and quickly took the reins—leading the band’s production and external communication efforts.
In May 2025, due to complications regarding the ownership of the Seventh Eve name—originally held by Jacob Torres, who was no longer creatively involved—Desmond and Oswaldo made the decision to part ways with the name. What emerged from that transition is a bold new project that builds on the same sonic intensity:
Led by Desmond, Outsider TX blends modern heaviness with raw emotion and an experimental edge. Without spending a dime on promotion, the project has already earned organic Spotify playlist placements, glowing YouTube reactions, and even a guest appearance from Alex Koehler (ex-Chelsea Grin). While currently searching for a drummer for live shows, the project’s momentum speaks volumes.
“Carnival marked the end of one era—and the beginning of something even stronger.”
— Desmond , writer and instrumentalist for Outsider TX & Amara
