BreaKdowN, the internationally forged extreme metal trio with roots in São Paulo, reborn in Ireland, and now stationed in Germany, break their silence with the crushing new EP “Divide and Konquer.” Delivering an old-school wallop with modern precision, the EP is a four-track blitz of raw energy and uncompromising metallic ferocity.

Formed in 1998, BreaKdowN have long been a cult staple of the underground metal world. Known for their visceral performances and ability to unite fans across genres—from punk to technical death metal—they’ve shared the stage with some of the genre’s most important names and earned praise from the likes of Rock Hard Magazine for their intense, melodic-yet-brutal sound.

“Divide and Konquer” is produced by the legendary Andy Classen at Stage One Studio and blends the aggression of Death , Sepultura , and Kreator with a melodic touch reminiscent of NWOBHM, all filtered through BreaKdowN’s singular lens. Tracks like “The Tentacles Of Hate,” “War,” and “Rise From The Dead” pull no punches, hitting with classic thrash/death metal intensity while showcasing refined musicianship and memorable songwriting.
