Houston, TX – Texas heavy metal force Scrollkeeper returns with their scorching new single "Beyond the Gates," set for release on May 23, 2025 . Blending the power of classic heavy metal with the ferocity of speed and thrash, the track is a bold statement from a band that continues to wave the flag for traditional metal with an uncompromising edge.

Following the success of their 2023 release “Wetiko” and their 2024 single “Blinded by Fear,” this new chapter sees Scrollkeeper pushing their sound further into high-octane territory. “Beyond the Gates” marks the second single off their forthcoming full-length LP, and the second to feature powerhouse drummer Thomas Chacon Jr.

Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Alexander K. at Nocturnal Studios in Houston, TX, the single delivers a relentless attack of galloping riffs, commanding vocals, and blistering solos that are sure to resonate with fans of Iced Earth, Metal Church, and Saxon .

Formed in 2016, Scrollkeeper has built a reputation for crafting anthemic metal rooted in the genre’s golden era, earning them stage time alongside legends like Venom Inc., Saxon, Metal Church, Voivod, and Hammerfall . Their debut LP Auto Da Fe earned them a place on Spotify’s “Best New Thrash Metal Music Playlist” in 2022, as well as recognition from GoldenCore Records / ZYX Music , who featured the track "Devil's Calculus" on their Damn, This Stuff is Heavy Vol. 2 compilation.
