Zagreb, Croatia – May 2025 – The rising force in modern metal, Trivan , has officially taken the spotlight as they crushed the competition and emerged victorious in the Battle of the Bands , earning the prestigious title of Band of the Month for May 2025. With an insane 484,883 votes , the band not only captured the hearts of fans worldwide but solidified their position as one of the most exciting acts in the underground scene today.

Trivan's journey began in 2018, when Vanja Šantak and Ivan Bertović , joined by their longtime school friend on drums, formed the original lineup. At the time, Vanja handled guitar and vocals, while Ivan played bass. The band was gaining traction until the unexpected halt brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

But true passion never dies.

After the pandemic subsided, Vanja recruited fellow schoolmate and former Darkendome frontman Tomislav Žiljak to take over lead vocal duties. When the band’s original drummer stepped away to focus on family and career, Žiljak suggested longtime collaborator Robert Vlašić , also from Darkendome, to fill the vacancy behind the kit.

The revitalized lineup brought renewed energy, direction, and chemistry to Trivan — and the results speak for themselves.
