Atlanta, GA — Atlanta’s rising deathcore juggernaut First One Dies has dropped their ferocious debut album, "Kingslayer," available now on all major streaming platforms via Dark Sails Entertainment . A blistering statement of intent, Kingslayer showcases the band’s evolution from solo project to a fully formed force in the heavy music world.

Formed in 2015 by guitarist/vocalist Ray Hunter , First One Dies solidified its lineup in 2017 with bassist Johnathon McGiboney (Johno) , drummer Abiden Perry , guitarist Joshua Combs (Brushy) , and vocalist Christian Guerra (Meatball) . Their debut EP Traditions laid the groundwork for what was to come—a relentless sonic onslaught rooted in the crushing brutality of deathcore, with influences from Paleface Swiss , All Shall Perish , and Hatebreed .

In 2020, the band began shaping Kingslayer , welcoming new energy into the fold: frontman Brandyn Soto (Yosemite Sam) , guitarist Noah Ruhkamp (2Tall) in 2021, and drummer Tanner Gross (Big Bird) in 2023. With a refreshed lineup and sharpened edge, Kingslayer marks a triumphant milestone in the band's journey.

First One Dies has spent 2024 dominating stages across the Southeast, sharing bills with titans such as Filth , Heavy//Hitter , Sunmancer , Torn Soul , Violence System , Left To Suffer , Insomni , OmenKiller , The Guild , Give Me Oblivion , Spiritless , Of Ancients , and many more.
