Poltergeist – A Paranormal Metal Experience

FUZZRIPPER’s new album, Poltergeist , is a concept album inspired by classic paranormal films and TV favorites of primary lyricist Dusty Mahan . The band worked with renowned producer Jeremiah Scott ( Demon Hunter, Destroy Destroy Destroy ) to mix and master the album at The Southern Oracle , ensuring a modern yet nostalgic sound that blends eerie atmospheres with hard-hitting metal riffs.

FUZZRIPPER: The Story Behind the Sound

Formed in 2017 in Clarksville, TN , FUZZRIPPER quickly built an international fan base following the release of their debut album, Nightstalker , on Halloween 2017 . The band’s signature mascot, “Jack the Ripper” , has become a recognizable figure in their album artwork, merchandise, and live performances .

While originally categorized as a traditional heavy metal band , FUZZRIPPER has evolved to incorporate a modern production approach , all while staying true to the influence of metal giants like Metallica, Megadeth, KISS, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Ghost .
