About Awaiting Abigail

Formed in 2024 , Awaiting Abigail is a six-piece hard rock/metal band delivering powerful, emotionally driven music. The group originated as a reunion of three high school bandmates —Heather Hammonds, James Smith, and Laurie Barnett (Larbs)—who played together in the 90s as part of Lost Reality .

Completing the lineup is the father-daughter duo of Mike and Kori Tolfa , with Kori, a former student of James, on keyboards and Mike on guitar. The final missing piece came when James discovered vocalist Abigail Hill , a gifted singer and actress studying theater arts at a local university. Her versatile voice and captivating stage presence cemented her as the band’s frontwoman and namesake.

Together, Awaiting Abigail creates a distinctive sound featuring:
