Deadfilmstar to Release New Single "Soiled, Spoilt & Somewhat Flawed" on August 5, 2024

Renowned industrial goth rock band deadfilmstar is set to release their highly anticipated new single, "Soiled, Spoilt & Somewhat Flawed," on Monday, August 5, 2024. This release promises to deliver the signature sound fans have come to love, with echoes of Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, and Ministry.

"Sleazy Industrial Goth Rock was born when Kerrang! pushed forward the virtues of deadfilmstar in the pages of their cult magazine."

Hailing from the Midlands, UK, deadfilmstar consists of permanent members vocalist Gary Mobley and keyboardist Esther Ravenhall, with additional studio and live support from guitarist Jonathan Housbey and long-term drummer Steve Hauxwell. The band has a storied history, having played at prestigious UK festivals such as Bloodstock Open Air and HRH, and toured with notable acts like Lord Of The Lost, Mortiis, and Gothminister. They have also supported legendary bands including Ministry, Fields Of The Nephilim, Front 242, Revolting Cocks, and Combichrist.

Recorded at Hellfire Studios and mixed by famed producer Sean Beavan—known for his work on iconic albums such as "The Downward Spiral" by Nine Inch Nails and "Antichrist Superstar" by Marilyn Manson—"Soiled, Spoilt & Somewhat Flawed" is poised to be a standout track in the industrial goth rock scene.

The single will be available for download, streaming, mp3, CD, and a very limited gatefold vinyl. Deadfilmstar is currently working on their forthcoming third album, "Knowing When To Bow Out Gracefully."
