Masterminded by the visionary drummer and writer Derek Ferguson, "Intouríst" promises to be a journey through the heart of 70s prog rock with a contemporary twist, echoing the styles of genre giants like Styx, Kansas, and Journey.

"Intouríst" is not just an album; it is an odyssey that blends myth with reality, weaving narrative-rich tracks that explore otherworldly desires and heartfelt homecomings. The album features a collection of soul-stirring epics, from the blazing trails of celestial bodies in "DMK" to the haunting allure of "The Devil Returns." Each track is crafted as a prog rock prayer, offering listeners a musical journey into the extraordinary.

About Refestramus:

Formed amidst the global turbulence of the COVID-19 pandemic in May 2020, Refestramus is the brainchild of Derek Ferguson, whose background in Chicago's progressive rock scene has deeply influenced the band's sound. The name Refestramus, a term coined by Derek’s mother, signifies rearrangement—a theme that resonates deeply in their musical approach and production.

Derek, renowned for his dynamic drumming and evocative songwriting, collaborates closely with producer Ian Beabout to bring this album to life. Together, they have sculpted a sound that is both nostalgic and refreshingly new, capturing the essence of classic prog rock while embracing the nuances of modern music-making.

 "Intouríst" also showcases the talents of multi-instrumentalist Dave Newhouse and features performances from musicians discovered on platforms like Fiverr.com, reflecting the innovative and inclusive spirit of the band. Notable vocalists are Induction lead singer Craig Cairns, rock vocalists NIDA, Denisse Ferrara, and Vedrana Lina. Brazilian keyboardist maestro Rogelio Desouza is also a Fiverr artist.
