This US/Canadian quartet, featuring Paul Mazurkiewicz, Taylor Nordberg, Brian Stephenson, and Vernon Blake, delivers a fresh blend of seventies rock with a tantalizing hint of metal.
Umbilicus isn't just another rock band; they're a sonic journey through the psychedelic sounds of the ‘60s and ‘70s. Drawing from influences ranging from blues to psych-rock, the band's members, including Taylor Nordberg ( Deicide ) and Paul Mazurkiewicz ( Cannibal Corpse ), bring their own unique flair to the mix.
Their debut LP, "Path of 1000 Suns," unleashed in 2022, captures the essence of rock's golden era, echoing the likes of Scorpions, Black Sabbath , and Bad Company . From mesmerizing solos to infectious rhythms, Umbilicus offers an experience that transcends time.
