Kromheim are a three piece melodic death metal band hailing from London UK, but originally from Warsaw in Poland. They are without a doubt more death metal than melodic death metal with changing crescendo riffs and rich layered riffs. Tracks like ‘War’ is Ronseal does exactly what it says on the tin, it just makes me think of the mêlée of battle with everyone pushing and shoving and dying everywhere in their harsh desperation. Whereas, ‘The Landing’ reminds me of a fleet of Viking ships being spotted on the horizon causing panic amongst the natives of that land as the hissing of the ships come ashore and the devastation that follows. Furthermore, ‘World Reborn’ is has all the imagery of an overlords recreation, the captured land in their vision and the inhabitants put to task and the misery of this. sword and soul. It has that feeling of the inhabitants rising up to retake their land back and it this theme which the remainder of the album continues with. Metal Digest

Short Bio: Kromheim is a three-piece melodic death metal band based in London, United Kingdom - established in 2020, it originally was a solo project from Warsaw, Poland. Kromheim draws its influences mostly from Scandinavian bands such as Hypocrisy, Insomnium, Amon Amarth or Dark Tranquillity. While the project's style is heavily rooted in the Gothenburg sound, one of the main aims was to bring back more 'death' to this 'melodic death metal' sound. The lyrical themes are mostly centred around Norse/Viking culture. On the 17th of February 2023 Kromheim will release their first LP entitled 'Journey To Divinity' and it will feature 8 songs.
