Titan Blood - The Call Of The Wild - Reviewed By Metal Digest ! Check it out here https://metal-digest.com/2023/10/08/titan-blood-the-call-of-the-wild/
Titan Blood, brainchild of Anthony Rowe are a synth heavy progressive metal band. After a few listens of ‘The Call of the Wild’ I found myself unable to decide if I liked it or not. It’s like sitting down to one of my favourite desserts, apple pie and custard and thinking something doesn’t taste quite right. Are the apples to bitter or custard too sweet? I can’t work it out. The vocals and songwriting are very good. Guitar bass and drums are nice. Then it hits me, those keyboard sounds are like I’m listening to a Japanese video game circa 1980’s. Bon-tempi organ noise twiddling away in the background.
That said there are a few great sounding key sounds. In particular ‘Tout est Possible’ and ‘Fate of Us’. ‘Arrival’ is a great piece of progressive rock. Just a little too busy in parts for my liking. The last track ‘Titan Blood’ is my favourite track. Shades of Dream Theater meets Iron Maiden and a killer guitar tone. All in all a good listen. Metal Digest
