Hypaethral, the technical death metal duo from Kansas City, Missouri has released their highly anticipated debut self-titled album on November 10th 2023. The album, which features standout tracks such as Chelicera and Infernal Ascension, showcases the band's blisteringly fast riffing, dexterous guitar arrangements, and dynamic and brutal vocal approach. The album opener Chelicera is a breakneck neck 325BPM riff with more notes than you can keep up with, while Infernal Ascension is a 7 minute epic track with tempos and time signatures changing throughout, yet still retaining its sheer brutality. Fans of technical death metal will not be disappointed with Hypaethral's debut release.
