NEXUS INSIDIAS and mastermind and multi-instrumentalist Robert Benaquista, who now presents "The Attested Atrocity", have to be showered with praise. That gives hope for a nice Death disc. And what is the reality? Well, for that I would first have to delete the "nice" from before and replace it with "unbelievable", "virtuoso" or even "wonderful", because NEXUS INSIDIAS is probably one of the most brilliant albums I've had the pleasure of listening to lately. From the technical sophistication to melodies that even some Scandinavians can only dream of, everything is there that a decent album should have. 

In addition, there is the wonderfully aggressive tempo, which is often slowed down or accelerated enough for blunt parts a la "The Sole Survivor" or atmospheric breaks, as in "Where Fate Lies". The already complex song structures become even more varied by the fact that subtle keyboard sprinklings are added, "Behind Dungeon Walls" or "The Beckoning Torment" serve as an example here. The conclusion in the style of a home consultant: NEXUS INSIDIAS is a lovingly knotted carpet of death metal. If this is to continue to be woven in such a high quality, it will have to be rolled out further and further. In short: Definitely try it! Metal Division Magazine

The forthcoming debut album from Nexus Insidias, The Attested Atrocity, is an instrumental thematic album depicting a fictional tale of a man who is imprisoned for heresy.  Trapped in a dungeon awaiting execution, he summons dark forces of nature through ritual to cast a devastating curse on the kingdom in the most malicious manner possible.  Musically raw, in-your-face, and abstract without treading too far into self-indulgent pastures, The Attested Atrocity delivers heart-pounding instrumental Metal with roots in 90’s Thrash, Death Metal, and Progressive Metal.
