BLOODSHOT CYCLOPS is a musical creation conceived and brought to life by the collectively twisted minds of long time metal underground practitioners Jeff Triece and Douglas Canipe.

Triece fronted the 1990's thrash metal band Denial who released the still sought after and collectible Antichrist President album on the Colossal/New Renaissance label which was owned by Ann Bolyen of the 80's metal band Hellion. He also played and toured extensively with Charlotte, NC band Method 51.

Canipe fronted the speed/thrash band Cronic Disorder who received rave reviews in the underground metal world for their 1999 self-released Dead To The World CD. Metal Maniacs, Brave Words, and many other metal magazines and fanzines praised and hyped the release which resulted in it being re-issued by Denmark's Mighty Music label after being re titled Torture Test. Canipe also spent almost a decade as the bassist for the infamous Carolina punk band ANTiSEEN.

Bloodshot Cyclops has labelled themselves an old school "Punk Metal Thrash Rock" band and while that description definitely fits, it also does not totally encompass all the sounds and influences that might make their way into any Bloodshot Cyclops tune. Guitar driven heavy metal/rock...sometimes accented with keyboards, brass and woodwind instruments, or samples...featuring sarcastically humorous
lyrics, gives the songs a varied appeal that should bring in fans from all walks of the musical landscape. They are currently releasing singles while the full length album "A SIGHT FOR SORE EYE" is under construction. Listen, watch, and follow!
