  Antania  are  a  music  project  from  Joshua  Tree,  California  that  plays  a  mixture  of  black,  doom  metal,  industrial  and  electronica  and  this  is  a  review  of  their  self  released  2023  album  "Lividity".

  Spoken  word  parts  and  electro  industrial  sounds  start  off  the  album  before  adding  in  some  brutal  sounding  blast b eats.  Elements  of  doom  metal  can  also b e  heard  in  the  slower  sections  of  the  recording  while  the  songs  also  add  in  a  lot  of  samples  and  synths  are  also  a  very  huge  part  of  the  recording.

  At  times  the  music  also  captures  the  heaviness  of  black  metal  while  also  adding  in  a  lot  of  distortion  guitar  pedals.  Most  of  the  vocals  are  also  done  in  a  very  aggressive  style  along  with  the  songs  also  adding  in  a  lot  of  bass  and  some  of  the  tracks  also  add  in  a  good  mixture  of  slow,  mid  paced  and  fast  parts.

  Antania  plays  a  musical  style  that  takes  black,  doom  metal,  industrial  and  electronica  and  mixes  them  together  to  create  a  sound  of  their  own.  The  production  sounds  vey  professional  while  the  lyrics  cover  murder  and  violence  from  real  life  events.

  In  my  opinion  Antania  are  a  very  great  sounding  mixture  of  black,  doom  metal,  industrial  and electronica  and  if  you  are  a  fan  of  those  musical  genres,  you  should   check  out  this  project.  RECOMMENDED  TRACKS  INCLUDE  "Angels  And  Demons"  "Hello  Gloomsday"  and  "Science  Of  Murder".  8 out  of  10. bringerofdeathzine
