Band name and album title: Elle Tea with Fate is at my Side

Genre: Heavy Metal

Release date and label: The album was probably self-released on April 28, 2023.

Other releases of the band: It is probably the first album of this project.

How did I meet the band: The album came into my rotation through Metal Devastation Radio. I don't quite understand the term "New Wave of Traditional Heavy Metal" yet, so you'll have to suffer now that I'm researching that direction.

What do I think of the disc? The songs don't sound bad. This is basically classic Heavy Metal/Hard Rock. Clear, rather neutral vocals, little distorted guitars and calm drums. So far so good. Somewhere I'm missing the innovative, something that makes this project stand out from the crowd. Despite all this, there is one song that I would like to introduce to you:

PART OF THE DEVIL has done it to me. He mixes both the soundtrack music from Brütal Legend and the songs you can hear on the car radio there. So really classic Metal, with some epic sections. Here you can have a listen.

Conclusion: I'm ambivalent when it comes to such revival genres. Thrash, Black and Death Metal can't sound old school enough for me, although I also like listening to the modern sounding bands, but somehow that doesn't work with Heavy Metal. I put on Saxon when I want to hear something in their style. But that's my problem, you better listen to the album and decide for yourself: fullmetalmayhem

Short Bio: One man project by Leonardo Trevisan born from the passion for classic hard rock and heavy metal. Strongly based in the 80's sound! Heavily influenced by bands like Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Dio, Megadeth, Manowar, Virgin Steele, Saxon, Blind Guardian, Rhapsody, AC/DC, Van Halen, Queen, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, and Whitesnake. At a young age he started out learning traditional microphone recording and playing guitar to write his own songs, devoting every moment and energy trying to reach his personal goals. Now at 27 he has decided to publish his works starting from this album he first made in 2017. The aim with this project is to keep writing metal and hard rock works for passion to satisfy his inner needs but also trying to find people interested in what he is doing the way he is doing it.
