How did I meet the band: Metal Devastation Radio struck again and sent me a demo of five tracks of Death Metal. So let's have a listen:

What do I think of the disc: The demo comes across as quite doomy, but this first impression can be deceptive. If you now expect five songs in a sluggish tempo, you will be disappointed. Although they stay more in the lower mid tempo, there are some faster passages. I particularly like the work on the microphone here, because in addition to the darkest growls, high-pitched, almost Black Metal shrieks are also used. So it was quite difficult for me to pick just one or two favourites:

SEVEN SEALS stomps and waltzes through the speakers. Dark, heavy and with a good smell of corpses, the song hits you. There's not much left for me to say here, other than: Listen to it.

CELESTIAL ends the demo with a real cracker. They stay true to their tempo here, apart from the fast-paced intro, but the song is damn powerful and I miss that in various bands.

Conclusion: You rarely experience that a demo is so good. Well, they took a good three years, but I can still make a recommendation here without hesitation. So listen in, lovers of death metal: fullmetalmayhem
