How did I get to know the band: Again, Metal Devastation Radio sent me something exciting. Death and grind are always tempting to me, so let's start the circlepit:

What do I think of the disc: Lots of Death Metal on the album. The grind core is more likely to be guessed at from the sometimes short runtimes. But that shouldn't be a criticism, because the twelve songs pack a punch. Hard death lead is hit around the ears here. The vocals are quite old-school while the rest sounds more modern, making for an interesting mix.

Already the opener AGAINST YOUR LIES really gets you going. Psychotic guitars lurk beneath the pounding, ready to sweep the unwary listener down with them. Above that, a storm of guitars and drums rages through which the vocals plow through and somehow it all becomes a cohesive song. listen to him

I also like IF YOU WANT PEACE, PREPARE FOR WAR (the English translation of the Latin "Si vis Pacem, para bellum"). It is driving here to work. Really powerful, as Death Metal should be.

Short Bio: DespiseD is a duo band created during the covid-19 pandemic in mogi guaçu/SP by Alex Roque (Disorder Of Rage, Blood Trail, Oligarquia) who invited Rodolfo Carrega (Clawn, ex-3rd World Collapse) to take over the vocals with the intention of spreading the heavy and raw Death/Grind influenced by Terrorizer, Nasum, Born to Murder the World, Napalm Death, Lock Up, Repulsion, Defecation and others. DespiseD is Death/Grind from the 3rd World, brutal music against nazi/facist scum.
