Al Jourgensen is a rare bird. For over 35 years, he's been ruffling feathers and radicalizing music fans with his extreme industrial-metal outfit Ministry. His exploits are legendary and it's an actual miracle he's made it to 2018 alive. We recently visited Uncle Al at his Los Angeles home where he and his band were prepping for a world tour (with Chelsea Wolfe and Converge) behind Ministry's 14th full-length record, AmeriKKKant, and we found the singer enjoying something of a personal and creative renaissance. Watch Jourgensen graciously take us on a surreal walk-through of his new house before treating us to a live rehearsal-studio run-through of the classic Ministry track "Thieves" — which sounds just as vicious and subversive as when it first dropped in 1989.
