"Trabajo is a song that is pro-sex work and that tries to break the outdated stigma that surrounds it," explains Rosa Venenosa (vocals). It is the first track off of their upcoming self-titled album and was recorded in Toronto in June 2021 by Preston (Wounded Paw Records) and mastered by Jack Butcher (Enormous Door).
Bringing influence from the international hardcore punk scene, including Scandinavian, Japanese, UK, and Spanish hardcore, Maldita delivers a raw noise assault with a diverse range of influence and socially and politically charged lyrics.
Earlier this year, Rosa Venenosa took part in Exclaim Magazine's feature " Canadian Musicians Nerd Out on Their Hobbies and Collections ' where she showcased her occult item collection. Other artists featured include Rich Aucoin and Sam Coffey.
