Sometimes many think that having a guttural in some parts of the songs immediately classify it as death metal, when this is not what defines the genre in its entirety. 5 years had to pass for The Final Sleep, will present a new material which is entitled "Vessels of Grief". Independently comes "Vessels of Grief" a work of 39 minutes of duration divided into 6 themes, most of these exceed 5 minutes in length, a cute cover art very striking really. "Vessels of Grief" is an album that has many flashes that dazzles as you go into the songs, the combination of gutturals, clean vocals and some typical deathcore screams is what abounds in these pieces. The first track is "Screaming in Silence" which begins in a very interesting way, sunny guitars, loud double bass drums, melodious riffs a tremendous way to start this album. "Until It Ends" appear the guttural accompanied by loud clean screams, the work again on the drums is something that takes a lot of relevance. "Pale Whisper" is a different beginning to the previous couple of songs, since it is at halftime everything is quiet, but little by little the distorted guitars are incorporated and the guttural ones give brief manifestations, it is a great piece. "Soul in Between" right in the middle of the song delight us with clean chords full of melody, guitars that are constantly torn, what this piece offers is excellent. "Funeral Seed" here is remarkable the presence of death metal to be the guttural ones that take the baton in the vocal rough riffs but that do not leave their melodic side even aside, the structure is perfect as the great details of lowering the revolutions of blow to give entrance to the clean voice with clean chords without a doubt these guys of The Final Sleep know what they do. As every beginning there is always an end and the theme that is responsible for this is "Eternal" the acoustic guitars give the starting flag, something to highlight is how they are played with the vocal tones, the riffs become a little darker and what a good way to close this great work. The Final Sleep returns tremendously with "Vessels of Grief" a job that fulfills in a great way, highly recommended to listen several times in a row. - Metallerium
