How did I get to know the band: Dead have always existed somehow. Only I have never managed to get a CD or anything from them and so the Metal Devastation Radio had to push me with my nose on it.

How do I find the disc: With the album they have basically anticipated the Porngrind, as it can be read everywhere. Not quite as deep as later bands, the vocals are not quite as inhuman and it lacks the certain groove that makes up the Porngrind for me, but the basic framework is already there. Reduced speed compared to the "classic grindcore", samples from horror films and/or porn and lyrics where hardly anyone would admit to waving their palm trees. The vocals fluctuate between high screams, nasty growls and somehow distorted shouts.

Here it is really hard to choose a few favorites, but I'll give it a try. RECEIVE MY FOLDEN SHOWER presents brutally and shows where the journey on the album and with the whole genre should go. SLAVES TO ABYSMAL PERVERSITY has a little bit of the groove that for me is simply part of the genre and also works in the middle of the song with samples from some porn. The same applies in principle to THRUSTED TO THE LIMIT OF ALL DELIGHT.

Conclusion: Absolutely rightly this album got a new edition. A milestone in metal. And yes, I could praise the album even further, hence my recommendation: Anyone who likes death metal in all its subspecies and variations should listen to this album if they haven't already done it. - FULL METAL MAYHEM

Release Date: December 10, 2021

FFO: Cock and Ball Torture, Gut, Regurgitate, Putrid Offal..

Napalm Death created Grindcore, Carcass Goregrind and Dead Porngrind with their '93 debut 7" but what really started it all for them is this now legendary debut "You'll Never Know Pleasure..." originally released in 1995 through cult Poserslaughter Records (Nasum, Regurgitate, Haemorrhage...). A quarter of a century later, XENOKORP is proud to give this insane piece of Hardcore Punk-influenced Death / Grind fetishism a second life through a deluxe 25th anniversary remastered reissue on both CD and Vinyl with new layout by Lukasz Jaszak (Decapitated, Mortuary...) and liner notes by professional journalist Olivier "Zoltar" Badin (New Noise, Zero Tolerance...).
