Rip Eric Wagner, from Trouble, The Skull, Blackfinger.. You will be missed brother! Thank you for all the tunes! Thank you for being my first major interview 7 years ago and trying to make me feel comfortable on the phone even though I was pacing around the room like an idiot! Thank you for the years of friendship after, I never said anything but it always meant the world to me when you liked or commented on one of my posts! I am sorry I didn't reach out sooner to get you on the show again. I was soo stoked when I saw The Skull was touring with The Obsessed and had my friends Gravehuffer and Summoner's Circle opening up on select dates, I couldn't wait to talk to you about it, but I waited too long. All we can do now is blast all the great music you left us with and try to keep your memory alive! RIP! - Zach Moonshine

Original Trouble singer / The Skull frontman, Eric Wagner, has passed away at 62 following a battle with COVID pneumonia. The sad news was confirmed by Eric's son, Luke Wagner, via a comment left on a post at The Skull's Facebook page.
The initial post from The Skull, dated August 17, stated: "Hey all. More bad news... We will not be able to play Psycho Vegas this Thursday. While 3 out of 4 of us who tested positive for Covid are recovering nicely... Eric Wagner’s bout with Covid has gotten worse and he was admitted to the hospital yesterday with COVID pneumonia. Positive thoughts and words will be helpful."
Late Sunday (August 22), Luke Wagner commented on the post, revealing: "Hey all this is Luke Wagner his oldest son. Eric Wagner has passed away." Via Bravewords
