Norwegian hard rockers Conception are set to release a brand new single ‘Gethsemane (live)’ on July 9th. It is the latest track from the band as they continue to make available a series of new recordings, live performances and previously unreleased material, as part of their latest crowdfunding campaign.

‘Gethsemane’ was “one of the highlights from the “Flow” album,” according to guitarist Tore Østby. “It’s also one of my favorites from the live set, and this version in particular comes from a very special night in Gjøvik back in 2019,” he mentions, referencing the band’s first gig in over a decade.

Choosing to operate without a record company, Conception enable the recording and release of new material via their direct-to-fan relationship; their latest crowdfunding campaign centers upon the release of an expanded version of their hugely successful 2020 album ‘State of Deception,’ to be made available early in 2022. As well as the new recordings featuring alongside the original album on both CD and vinyl, the deluxe box set will also include a host of additional items, including instrumental versions of the album tracks, posters, an extensive history of the band with never before seen photographs, and exclusive competition access.

Conception will also finally be undertaking their COVID19 delayed headline tour, for which an extra date has been announced, as the band mark their return to Belgium by headlining Antwerp’s Thunder Metal Fest on March 27th.
