“Zakk Wylde was in New York Tuesday doing press when he learned of the increasing risk to his family and home posed by wildfires raging in Southern California.

“Wylde was playing a brief acoustic set at iHeartRadio’s Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee Lounge when someone asked him what his plans are for the weekend.

“‘Well, hopefully we’re heading back home to California,’ Wylde responded, ‘and have a house to go to… at the rate [the wildfire is] going.'”
