This raw recording gives us hints of what will be another interesting old-school Heavy Metal band, with its own great dose of epic melodies. The guitar may lack some strength, especially in the solos, but this shall surely be improved with better recording quality and time.
Notably, the vocals have an approach that reminds of Blaze Bailey, and in some instances as on “Charge To War” or “Last Stand” this is pretty interesting, even though in some other tracks it seems mediocre. Nonetheless, this band may be interesting in some future, for their direction is pretty good, even if it needs improving. If you’re in the mood for a NWOTHM demo of an emerging artist, you may want to check this out.
I recommend this album to fans of NWOTHM and Epic Heavy Metal. My rating is of 7/10. - Bathory'Zine
Wolfstar has a five track EP ' APOTHEOSIS ' due to be released on May 1st 2021! They have one song ' FACELESS ' from the EP, available for preview now on YouTube! The next single ' TYRS PRAYER ' will be released on April 30th,2021. On May 1st 2021, the full six track EP will be released on all physical and digital media outlets.

Wolfstar is a heavy metal band from the rolling hills of Lexington, Kentucky . They strive to make the finest, oak-aged, hand-crafted heavy metal, bringing influences from modern and classic sounds. The songs are inspired by everything from history to fantasy. Their original lineup started in the summer of 2016 and put together the baseline for the band and what it would grow into today. The current members came together through Renaissance Festivals and playing at local venues in the Lexington region.
