SOM: Atmospheric Rock Outfit To Appear On Metal Injection's February Installment Of Slay At Home Fest This Friday; Awake EP Nears Release

Atmospheric rock outfit SOM has been added to the February edition of Metal Injection's Slay At Home virtual fest! The festival will air THIS Friday, February 19th at 3:00pm EST / 12:00pm PST via the Metal Injection YouTube channel. SOM will appear alongside sets from Gaerea, The Lion's Daughter, Hamferð, Obsidian Kingdom, labelmates Briqueville, and many others. This month's installment of Slay At Home will benefit The Black Art Future Fund in celebration of Black History Month. The BAFF is a collective of emerging philanthropists promoting the elevation and preservation of Black arts and culture.

SOM - featuring current and former members of Constants, Junius, and Caspian - will release their new EP, Awake, on March 5th. Combining two exclusive originals with remixes by beloved collaborators Holy Fawn, Hisself (Johnny Dang of O'Brother), U Dye (Marshall Gallagher of Teenage Wrist), and Giuseppe Capolupo (The Devil Wears Prada), Awake is a triumph of self-described "heavy dream pop."
