The USBM band Black Shroud formed in northwest Ohio about a year ago, and their debut album Death Culture was released this month. Death Culture is a conceptual album geared towards various burial rituals around the world. The songs on their debut release was written and recorded independently, as Black Shroud set out to create their own style of black metal. Death Culture was released in several US cities as well as Brazil, Portugal and Germany, and fan response has been positive. The cover art was designed by Somluck Sapeanthong.
