If you like horror punk and zombies, you should check out The Negans. The Negans formed in 2018 and released their debut EP Take It Like A Champ last October. The band have been horror fans (indie directors Nacho Cerda and Douglas Buck, classic American horror, Italian horror, Japanese horror, body horror and the New French Extremity Movement) for many years. As fans they devised a concept based on the AMC series The Walking Dead, specifically the Negan character. The Walking Dead has expanded the scope of zombie horror as much as its popularity has expanded in American pop culture, and this band presents a narrative from the villain’s point of view. The band is currently writing and recording new material.
