Band Interview: EXAMINE by Dave Wolff

The New York Hardcore band Examine was started by Queens vocalist Sean who has been involved in the local hardcore scene since 1986. The band formed in 2015 of members who were acquainted from local hardcore bands. Gil (guitar), Mike (bass) and Shuffles (drums) worked well together and became a full time lineup. Examine released their self-titled full length on Dead City Records, currently home to well known punk and HC bands including Warzone, Krays, Sheer Terror, Yuppicide, Killing Time, Ludichrist and Crumbsuckers.
