Craig Michael is the author of The Deathercizer: Headbanger’s Poetry, an anthology that was released on a limited basis many years ago and is one of independently published verse’s best kept secrets. Describing himself as a skilled artist with experience in self-publishing, Michael managed to submit his collection and earlier works of his into the U.S. Library of Congress in 1989. First receiving inspiration to write from his father, he drew inspiration from everything from religion to art to fiction to politics to major social events in the 1960s, then punk rock and heavy metal from the 1980s to the present day.
