Jaap Boekestein is a prolific and versatile author who has written almost everything from science fiction to fantasy to horror to crime to erotica, and much more in between. Starting with sci fi and fantasy he went on to experiment in other genres that interested him as he experienced life in greater doses. Since moving from the Dutch market to the American market he has been presented with many more opportunities for recognition. But he makes it clear he’s not writing for fame and fortune, as recognition as a published writer is of greater importance than being well known.
