Michael Aronovitz is an independent music reviewer and horror writer who combines his two passions, writing fictional pieces with bands as the lead characters. His series “Music Hell” is one that takes a fair amount of planning and matters of legality. Bands give their permission to have their names used in his pieces, providing press kits featuring their latest work. Then a story is based on their song lyrics and promotional videos. He recently wrote a novelette with Anthrax as the main characters (The Shadows of the Asylum) which has gotten a notable fan response.
